Peace Lilies are botanically known as Spathiphyllum and are technically not true lilies at all. There are a total of 47 varieties of Peace Lily that are known, and these all share similarities in terms of the types of flowers they produce and the type of care they require.
However, one differentiating quality between Peace Lilies is the typical height and width that various varieties can grow to. Here we look at the typically mature size of popular Peace Lilies.

Are Peace Lilies Big Plants?
The answer to this is both yes and no, depending on which variety of Peace Lily you are talking about. If you are looking for a compact Peace Lily you can keep on a shelf, which won’t outgrow its space, then there are dwarf varieties that will work well for you.
If you want a giant Peace Lily to occupy a vacant corner of your home, then larger varieties of this plant are also available, which can grow right up to the ceiling.
The leaf size is another consideration to think about when you are planning on where to keep your Peace Lily because some smaller varieties of this plant have large leaves which will need a lot of widths, whereas others have slender, delicate leaves which won’t require much width on the shelf at all.
Mature Peace Lily Size
The mature size of a Peace Lily will depend upon its variety, as well as its growing conditions. For example, the Picasso Peace Lily can grow to heights of up to 6 feet when kept in its natural habitat, however, when grown as a houseplant, it will rarely exceed 2 feet in height.
Here we look at the mature size of various Peace Lilies according to their variety.
Small Peace Lilies
Piccolino Peace Lily
This dwarf variety of Peace Lily is perfect for small spaces because it will typically grow to a maximum height of between 8 and 12 inches. It produces glossy green foliage, but it may be disappointing if you like Peace Lilies that flower heavily because it will only produce one flower at a time.
Jessica Peace Lily
The Jessica Peace Lily is small in stature, but it produces large leaves. The mature height of this variety will typically be no more than 1 foot, however, the leaves can span up to 8 inches long. The foliage of this plant is variegated, with heavy splashes of cream set against the dark green background.
Little Angel Peace Lily
This is a dwarf variety of Peace Lily that generally grows to between 12 and 15 inches in height. It produces dark green, heavily veined leaves, which create a deeply ribbed effect. It is a prolific bloomer, with flowers appearing at the tips of the leaves.
Starlight Peace Lily

Wallisii Peace Lily
This Peace Lily can reach mature heights of up to 16 inches, but it more commonly hovers around 12 to 14 inches. It has long, lance-shaped leaves that can grow to 10 inches in length. The foliage has a gently rippling quality, and the blooms are quite large in proportion to the rest of the plant, at 3 inches in length.

Domino Peace Lily
This variegated Peace Lily gets to typical heights of between 2 and 3 feet, with a width measurement to match.
It features delicately marked leaves in shades of dark green, mint green, and cream. This plant is a prolific bloomer, so it’s a good choice if you enjoy looking at the flowers on a Peace Lily.
Jetty Peace Lily
If you have a Jetty Peace Lily, then you can expect it to reach a maximum height of around 2 feet. It produces flowers that last a long time in a creamy white and pale yellow color.
Allison Peace Lily

It has moderately sized leaves and is favored for its ability to flower heavily several times throughout the year. The foliage on this plant is dark green, creating a bold contrast against the white flowers.
Large Peace Lilies
Sensation Peace Lily
This is the largest type of Peace Lily that is commercially produced to be sold as a houseplant. It can reach mature heights of up to 6 feet, so be sure you have space to accommodate this plant before you purchase it. It can also grow to 6 feet in width, though this could be restricted by the size of the plant pot you are growing the Peace Lily in.
Blue Moon Peace Lily
Another large variety of Peace Lily, the Blue Moon Peace Lily, can grow to mature heights of up to 5 feet. It has dark green foliage with a subtle ruffled edge and produces pure white blooms.
Picasso Peace Lily
This is a large Peace Lily in the wild but a medium Peace Lily when grown as a houseplant. When kept in its native habitat, the Picasso Peace Lily can get up to 6 feet tall, but it typically tops out at just 2 feet in height when grown indoors. If you live in a warm climate, you could grow this plant outdoors in a garden, and when planted directly in the soil, you could enable it to grow to heights of between 4 and 6 feet.
